Vedic Astrology Course with Gudrun and Nicholas Lewis - online through their website
We will start our first english online basis training on the 4th of April 2013. This date is the start, but the day of the week and also the time we choose for our Webinars can still be changed on the basis of the availability of the students.
Since 2007 we teach Jyotish online and in the meantime we have had 4 full online basis training courses plus many other online groups and we realized, that onlineteaching or Webinars are an excellent way to learn Jyotish. The basis training consists of 8 different modules:

- Evaluating planetary strengths and first combinations
- Yogas, their definition and significance
- The Vimshottari Dasasystem
- The lunar zodiac - the 27 Nakshatras
- Rahu and Ketu - the karmic axis
- Transits, Ashtaka Varga and Shad Bala

- Medical Ayurvedic Astrology.
- Partnership analysis.
- Dysfunctional Family patterns.
- Varshaphala - Annual Chart.
- Muhurta - Electional Astrology.
- Prashna - Horrary Astrology
- Understanding the Moon

Basic Training Course in English
The basis training consists of 8 different modules:
Each of these 8 modules is taught in 7 classes of 90 minutes. We meet once a week, explain the theory and discuss all questions. Every class is recorded and made available to everyone as videofiles. The costs for this basistraining are: 150 Euros for each module, payable every 2nd month (when a new module starts) or payapble in monthly installments of 75 Euros. You can cancel your participation any time without any further payments. This adds up to 1200 Euros for 56 classes of 1,5 hours each.
Upon completion of the Basis Course the Students also have the opportunity to sit for the EVVA (European Association of Vedic Astrology)
Exam.This exam is in association with renowned Astrologers in India .

Teacher(s)
Nicholas and Gudrun Lewis began teaching Jyotish in 2000 in Germany. They published two books and many articles and now teach in Switzerland, Netherlands and Germany. Both are German Heilpraktiker (naturopaths) and Nicholas has been practicing Classical Homeopathy for more than 20 years. He has specialized in Medical Astrology and runs an indological bookshop in association with Motilal Banarsidass. Gudrun has been a Western Astrologer before she came in touch with Jyotish and she gives vedic-astrological readings over the phone or computer all over Europe. Nicholas and Gudrun founded the German association for Vedic Astrology (DGVA) and were amongst the pioneers of Online teaching. They introduced, in cooporation with India an examination for Vedic Astrologers in order to help maintain a high standard in Europe.
